About This Sirmione & Lugana Wine Tour
This private Sirmione Lugana wine tour combines the history and lakeside atmosphere of Sirmione with local cuisine and the wines of Lugana.
The morning is dedicated to Sirmione and the Grotte di Catullo, followed by lunch in the area. In the afternoon, continue to a selected Lugana winery to discover the territory, the native Turbiana grape and the estate’s production philosophy.
The experience can be arranged with private transfer from Verona or in self-drive mode, allowing couples, families and small private groups to choose the travel style that best suits their needs.

Sirmione Lugana Wine Tour: Culture, Food & Wine
Sirmione combines a historic lakeside setting with one of the most important archaeological sites on Lake Garda. Its peninsula, Roman remains and panoramic views create a natural cultural introduction to the day.
South of the lake, the Lugana wine area is closely connected with the native Turbiana grape. A winery visit introduces the vineyards, production methods and different expressions of this distinctive local white wine.

Show Day 1 Details
Morning – Departure from Verona or self-drive meeting point. Guests choosing the private transfer option will be picked up in Verona or at another agreed location. Self-drive guests will meet directly in the Sirmione area.
9:30 AM – Arrival in Sirmione. Begin with a walk through the historic centre, passing characteristic streets, lakeside views and the area around the Scaligero Castle.
10:30 AM – Grotte di Catullo. Continue towards the northern end of the peninsula and explore the Roman archaeological site and panoramic views over Lake Garda.
12:30 PM – Lunch. Enjoy a meal at a selected restaurant in Sirmione or the surrounding area, based on regional and seasonal cuisine.
2:30 PM – Transfer to the Lugana wine area. Continue towards the vineyards south of Lake Garda.
3:00 PM – Winery visit. Discover a selected Lugana estate, its vineyards, cellar and production methods.
4:00 PM – Guided wine tasting. Taste a selection of wines chosen by the winery and discover different expressions of Lugana.
5:15 PM approximately – End of the experience. Return towards Verona when private transfer is included, or end the self-drive experience.
